this is an Adaptive reuse project reimagining a 19th century church as a new sacred space along with a community centre. The proposal introduces an extension which features a landmark tower, bringing in light into the new church, a multi purpose space and cafe, as well as classrooms. the building seperates the site and forms courtyards in between the surrounding buildings, to create breakout space and introduce social cohesion. the original site connected the two adjacent streets, therefore it was important to retain this threshold to have access from both sides.
